Somehow, it feels like girls always know when they’ve met the love of their lives, which is why it’s so hard to believe that men can recognize this as well.
It’s always a little bit of a mystery. We look at those guys, and we can’t really understand what’s going on in their heads. Is he just being nice, or does he have feelings for you? What if he’s just testing the waters, and he doesn’t think that you’re the one?
Well, in that case, it’s good to have a list of ways that show you just how serious he is about you. Because, at the end of the day, it’s important if he thinks that you’re the one. If he just sees you as a woman who’s passing through his life, then you’d be devastated.
You just want to make sure that his behavior shows that he knows you’re the one. I mean, you have a right to know.

1. He does things that he’s usually uncomfortable with
When you start wondering if guys know when they’ve met the right person, you just have to look out for what he’s doing. You’re probably not used to seeing him do all of those things because he was usually uncomfortable with them. Especially when it concerns things that he’s not good at.
For example, if you love to dance, and he doesn’t feel comfortable with it, he’ll try his best to dance with you so that he can be near you. Otherwise, why would he want to dance? He looks like he’s having a seizure.
Another example would be if you’re doing any sort of extreme sports that he doesn’t feel comfortable with. It could be that he’s scared of heights or the ocean. But, no phobia can keep him from enjoying life with you! So, he goes out of his comfort zone to have fun with you.
A man wouldn’t usually put himself in this position. He would just stick to things that he knows he’s good at. However, the right woman will inspire him to try out new things.
2. He mentions your future together
It’s not a secret that men are scared of settling down with one woman. Imagining their life with one person gives them the heebie-jeebies. So, once the man you’re seeing starts asking you about your future plans, it’s set in stone that he sees you as more than just a fleeting moment in his life.
He sees a future with you, he feels safe with you, and he sees that you have all the qualities that he wants in his future partner. He wouldn’t incorporate you into his future if he didn’t want something serious in with you.
Of course, it does happen that women come across manipulators and narcissists who are full of empty promises, but once things start to become more realistic, you’ll start to see that those were not just words, because he’s turning them into actions.
Once he starts making plans with you, you’ll see that guys are very much aware when the love of their lives has stepped in.
3. You make him feel safe, so he opens up to you
Do guys know when they’ve met the one? It’s such a bizarre question to ask when all the signs are there. We’re just not used to seeing a man behave this way, so we’re a little bit confused.
However, the fact is that men don’t like to open up to people. They weren’t taught that talking about your issues is acceptable, so they end up bottling up their problems, without expressing any of their emotions.
So, once a guy has found the girl that he wants to spend his life with, he’ll start to open up to her. In this case, you’re the girl that I’m talking about! You’re probably not aware of how special your connection is, but once he feels safe enough to talk to you about his issues, you’ll know that he sees you as someone extremely special.
He wants to open up to you so that you can have a more special connection and to show you that he wants you to stay in his life for a long time.
4. He’s in love with every part of you
We, as girls, are so insecure about everything. Do we look okay? Do we smell fine? Are we interesting enough? Are we too loud? Or not loud enough? That’s when we start to lose ourselves in all of those insecurities.
However, a guy who absolutely adores every part of you is a guy who will stick around even when you’re old and grumpy. He’ll want to spend the rest of your lives together because you’re the only person for him.
He compliments the way you look and he doesn’t shy away from kissing you, even when your morning breath is extra stinky. This man looks at you lovingly, even when your laugh is extra obnoxious.
He loves your weird hobbies and your stupid fears, he simply adores every part of you. That’s when he’ll know that he loves you because no one else can make him feel this way.
5. You can talk for hours
Have you ever seen those videos of couples just laughing aggressively together? They’re losing their breath from the laughter. That’s exactly what happens when you meet the one.
So, guys definitely do know when they’ve met the one. Especially when they’re able to laugh for hours with the person they’re with and talk with them without having to feel shame.
Once you look at the clock, and you see that it’s the early hours of the morning, and he’s still talking to you – that’s when you can be sure that he’s happy to have you in his life. He won’t talk this much to someone who isn’t special to him. He will only do this with the woman that he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with.
6. Conflicts don’t seem as scary anymore
Have you ever been in a situation where a conflict seems like the end of the world? You don’t even want to start an argument because you feel like things will escalate to the point of no return. You’ll lose your partner, you’ll lose yourself, and you’re better off just keeping everything inside of you.
I mean, you can handle it, right? You can just deal with this by yourself. You don’t need him to understand your point of view, right?
Well, wrong. When you’re with the right person, a conflict is nothing more than a way for you both to communicate your wants, needs, and boundaries. A conflict isn’t something scary, but rather a way to improve the relationship.
So, do guys know when they’ve met the one? They definitely do! Especially when he doesn’t mind telling you what he doesn’t like in the relationship and he actively tries to make things better. He’s not avoiding arguments, but he’s making sure that you’re talking things through.
Now that’s a man who wants to keep you in his life, and to turn your relationship into a healthy and happy one.
7. You inspired him to become a better person
I mean, sometimes guys aren’t even aware of the fact that they’ve found the right person. However, it can be obvious by the way they’re acting. For example, once your man starts feeling like you’re the love of his life, he’ll start changing into a better version of himself.
He’ll quit drinking, he’ll start going to the gym, and his toxic friends won’t interest him anymore. He wants to spend his days reading and learning new things. It’s interesting to him that you’re so smart, and the fact that you’re good at so many things makes him very happy.
He doesn’t want to be just another man who’s fawning over you but rather wants to show you that he can be just as loving and caring as you are. A man who couldn’t care less wouldn’t even bother because he’ll think that he’s the prize and that you have to change to please him.
However, once he knows that he’s found the girl of his dreams, he’ll want to show you that he doesn’t want to lose you. Even though it may seem like he’s doing too much, he’s just scared of losing you now that he finally found you.
At the end of the day, I genuinely believe that it’s nothing more than a feeling that comes from deep within. A man will know when he’s met the girl that he wants to be with forever. He won’t spend time and effort on anyone else, because he knows that girls like you are rare.
