Sometimes you feel like everything is falling apart, like all the world is on your shoulders and you just can’t take it anymore.
You start asking God why He is testing you, why He is putting so much pressure on you when you obviously can’t take it.
You feel like you will crack at any point, but then you remember that God gives us only those battles that we are capable of fighting.
You remember how your mother taught you how only God knows your greatest strengths and how He knows that you will be able to go through a battle and come out of it like a winner.
Life is a journey full of both good and bad.
The same way your thoughts stay positive through the good, you should train them to be positive through the bad.
Your mindset can lead you left or right. It is on you to choose which direction you are going to take.
Negative thoughts bring negative results.
Let’s say that you started a new job and you are constantly thinking about how you will not be able to find your way through it.
You get to the workplace unhappy, overthinking about what will happen next, and when your boss will tell you that you are not good enough for the position.
If you have this mindset, you will be constantly waiting for something bad to happen so that you can tell yourself, ‘‘I knew it.”
On the other hand, if you truly believe that everything will work out in a positive way, you will manage to show the boss your worth, your co-workers will appreciate you and you will be happy there.
The moment you start believing that you are the creator of your happiness, you tend to change your actions and after that, amazing things happen.
The same is applicable to every other single situation and experience you will go through in your life.
Positive thoughts will bring positive results and the other way around.
However, when something unexpected happens, you shouldn’t lose your motivation and will to progress and work hard.
Even when we think that something is good for us, it might not be the case. We can try so hard to get somewhere but if God believes that He has something better planned, He will make the decision to not give us the thing we want so badly.
When that happens, we tend to become sad or devastated. We feel like God doesn’t love us and that nothing good will ever happen to us.
However, if you put things into perspective, you will feel much better.
What if God doesn’t want you to have something because He knows that it is not good enough for you?
Believing this, you will start to appreciate more everything that happens to you, no matter whether it’s good or bad.
Everything is a lesson.
Both good and bad lessons shape us the same way. They make us stronger and tougher. They make us who we are.
God loves us and He wants us to succeed but He also knows which experiences to give us in order to get us to the place where we are destined to be.
Truly believing that everything is happening the way it should takes away hours of overthinking and beating yourself up.
Everything is preordained and your only job is to fight through life and to give your best.
No matter whether you’re going through the worst period of your life where you feel like nothing makes sense anymore or if you are at the peak of your happiness thinking that life is the most amazing thing, you should always remember that your job is to try your best.
None of us can control the things that are bigger than us but we can control ourself, our thoughts, and our actions.
We can rely on God while giving our best. The combination of these will never disappoint us.
When you give your whole being to something, you will feel satisfied that you sincerely tried, no matter the consequences.
Besides that, if you believe that God has a plan for you and that this is just one more experience that leads you to your destination, you will start to appreciate life more.
The journey to the final destination can take a while, but it will be worth the wait.
The process can make you cry and scream but it will never make you feel unsatisfied with the results, as you will know that it’s the right thing for you.
Be patient and wait for it.
Maybe you won’t understand the reasons why some things are happening, but as pieces of a puzzle, everything will fit together.
”It might take a year, it might take a day, but what’s meant to be will always find its way.”
No one else will get something that is meant for you as it belongs to you only.
So, instead of worrying, I put my faith in God’s hands.
Yes, I will give my best but I will never question His will. I will trust God as He is the one who knows what my future will look like.
When I started thinking like this, I felt calm and my anxiety level dropped. ”If it’s meant to be, it will be.”
Whatever happens in my life, I know that it won’t destroy me as I am too strong for that. God will not give me something if He knows I can’t face it.
His ways may be odd, but they lead to a magical place.
A place of happiness and contentedness, where you can finally say: ”I made it here on my own and through the help of God.
I am stronger than before and my experiences are now a part of me. This is my destiny and I will never change it.
Instead, I believe that everything is the way it should’ve been.”
You fought for it, you persisted, you trusted God and you got it! Now, you can enjoy the beauty of life, as you worked so hard for it.
