This Is Why I Will Always Love You

I fell in love with you the moment I laid eyes on you and this is why I will always love you. Because, somehow, I knew you were the person I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with.

There was something in the way you smiled that lit up my spirit the moment I saw that special glow in your eyes. Knowing that I was the cause of it only made me fall even harder for you.

You never really admitted it, but I know you fell in love with me instantly too. Even though I was a complete mess, you saw something in me, and this is why I will always love you.

You loved me for who I was, even the times I didn’t love myself. Most importantly, you taught me to love myself and see myself through your eyes.

You were willing to do anything for me back then, but the funny thing is, you still are.
