In every relationship, there’s someone who will always choose to back down first. You just have to know when to raise the white flag and walk out.
However, today we’re going to rank the zodiac signs based on who leaves first. Some of them might surprise you and others might be just a tad bit familiar.
1. Aquarius (January 19 – February 18)
Aquarius is most likely to be the one to walk out of a relationship. This may not make them look good in others’ eyes, but you know what? They really couldn’t care less.
This zodiac sign is the first to leave when things get heated. If they see that there’s been some damage done that’s beyond repair, they won’t hesitate.
The thing about this air sign is that they really have their priorities set straight. And you know what? Relationships aren’t one of them.
2. Sagittarius (November 21 – December 22)
Right behind Aquarius, we have a fire sign that’s all too eager to flee the scene.
You know the saying: Where there’s smoke, there’s fire? Well, not in this case. Where there’s smoke, you won’t be able to find this fire sign.
Sagittarius doesn’t like someone bursting their own bubble, so they’ll make sure that doesn’t happen. If they sense that something might jeopardize their inner peace, they won’t bother to stay any longer. It’s just how much they love themselves.
3. Gemini (May 20 – June 20)
As for Gemini, they aren’t as careless and reckless as the first two zodiac signs. However, they still have a mind of their own and don’t like to stress over something that could easily be solved.
But what happens when they are unable to solve the problem? If a Gemini faces an issue that threatens their carefree lifestyle, in their minds, there’s only one right thing to do.
This zodiac sign will leave first because they can’t afford to spend their precious time working on a long-lost cause. Just like Aquarius, this air sign has better things planned out.
4. Leo (July 22 – August 22)
Unlike a lion that’s notorious for its bravery and strength, Leo isn’t the highest on the rankings. So then what makes them among the first ones to leave?
Well, Leos are the king of drama, but only when they’ve directed it. The moment they lose full control of events and things start to take an unexpected turn, they’re out.
It doesn’t matter what reputation it gives them, although this fire sign relies heavily on it. Well, I guess this sign has its priorities set straight at least.
5. Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Not so high up on the list but still among the top half is Scorpio. Ah, who would’ve thought this lovely and caring zodiac sign could end up here?
Please, note the sarcasm. I wonder why it isn’t occupying the first place really. Well, it’s not really what you think. There’s another side to Scorpio apart from being cold.
The thing with this water sign is that they only have so much patience. They won’t panic, but they won’t bother fixing things either.
6. Libra (September 22 – October 23)
Following Scorpio, Libra is also prone to leave when things get spicy. But not before digging into the problem and trying to figure it out first.
Libras are highly sensitive and they will do anything it takes to preserve a relationship. That is if you mean the world to them.
But if you’ve just recently got into a romantic relationship, you can forget about endless loyalty. All you’ll see is Libra’s back as they head for the door.
7. Aries (March 20 – April 19)
Aries is like that annoying little brother who comes into your room just to give you a hard time and then disappears for a full day.
Just like that, they’ll barge into a heated argument with prejudices and try to make some drama. As true drama queens, Aries will also storm out of the relationship when things get too much.
They like to start the game, but they don’t like finishing it.
8. Pisces (February 18 – March 20)
To Pisces, this is all just unnecessary. If you can’t have it the easy way, then they won’t be there to see things go the harder way.
They’re simply of a calmer nature that makes it tough for them whenever they face some kind of conflict. It’s not their cup of tea and they’ll do whatever they can to avoid it.
Although they’re not the ones to flee the scene first, they’ll try to leave as soon as they feel that either they or their relationship are endangered.
9. Capricorn (December 21 – January 19)
Something really bad needs to happen for a Capricorn to give up on their relationship. This earth sign doesn’t throw in the towel easily but, that said, also knows when to back off.
Caps don’t have a problem with staying and trying to work on the issue. However, they have a problem with someone who isn’t willing to appreciate them for it.
If you don’t give them the same amount of effort in return for all they do, then you can expect them to pack their bags sooner rather than later.
10. Taurus (April 19 – May 20)
I know what you’re thinking. It’s a Taurus, so it’ll be out even before the lights are. Well, you’re both right and wrong.
Although Taurus is stubborn and wants things their way, they’re extremely loyal and will fight for the relationship until their last breath.
The only time this earth sign withdraws its troops is when it realizes it’s too late. A good soldier knows when to hand the battle over.
11. Cancer (June 20 – July 22)
Just like the hopeless romantic they are, Cancer will keep fighting for love until they pass out from exhaustion. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but it’s not.
This water sign isn’t scared to show raw emotion and willingness to keep the relationship alive. Although they might seem a bit soft, here’s when they show their true warrior faces.
This may be a bad thing because they just don’t know when it’s time to leave and raise their white flag.
12. Virgo (August 22 – September 22)
Unfortunately, Virgo is even worse than Cancer. This earth sign just doesn’t know when it’s time to call it quits.
On the other hand, it’s actually one of their remarkable traits, too. Their persistence is astonishing and that’s what really makes them so efficient in everything they do.
A Virgo won’t let go that easily and certainly won’t go without a fight. Although they’re gentle at heart, they can be a real danger when fighting for someone or something they love.
