It’s easy to love someone in the happy, loving times when everything is nice and easy but on those difficult days, you need someone who will be able to love you even more.
Crying on somebody’s shoulder, being vulnerable in front of them with tears running down your cheeks… is actually beautiful.
Because that is someone who will make everything okay once again… with their love and kindness.
It’s important to be with someone who will see you at your worst state and appreciate it when you are feeling your best because loving somebody is not about loving them only when they are great… but being by their side when they feel their worst and helping them feel better again, healing them with your love.
After all, isn’t it said in sickness and in health?
The difficult days are when you need your loved one the most and you shouldn’t be afraid of letting them know that you have such difficult days.
On the contrary, they should know all about them so they can make you feel good again. After all, everything is easier when you don’t have to deal with it alone and true love is stronger than any problem that could come your way.
However, your special someone needs to be someone who is ready for all the problems that come with loving you; after all, you don’t want to end up with someone who will run away as soon as a problem appears.
And remember, love is stronger than anything that can get in your way of being happy because love can survive depression and difficult times, as long as you are both equally in love with each other and ready to fight for that love.
Let me tell you something from my own personal experience. I lost my job, but my husband wanted an expensive new computer.
I gave him all my savings so that he could buy it but I was, at the time, hoping to find a job I could do from home, so he took that money and bought me a powerful laptop instead.
Now I work on it every day, and from the money I earned, I bought him the computer he wanted.
Someone else might have forced me to work from 9 to 5 in an office, but he invested in me so I could do something that I love and I am grateful for those difficult days when I didn’t have a job because they led me to where I am now. I have to thank love and patience for that.
That is just one of many examples of how my loved one has supported me on the difficult days and you need someone like that as well; someone who will gladly sacrifice their happiness for yours, someone who will support you and help you make your dreams come true.
I was in hospital for some time when we were dating and he would come to visit me every single day and would stay until they told him to leave. In a way, that is what has cured me.
The truth is… difficult days aren’t really that difficult when you have someone who will spend them with you… and do all they can to cheer you up. And true love can make the sun appear even in the cloudiest sky.
So, when you are searching for a partner, it’s crucial to find someone who will be there for you on the difficult days because that is what true love really is all about.
Being together and fighting the odds… when everything is falling apart… if you have someone who will hold your hand the entire time and tell you that you will survive it together… it really isn’t that scary, and you will survive.
Because you are in it together till the end and true love is stronger than anything.
I might not have believed it myself before I met my husband… but the truth is when you have someone who believes in you and takes care of you… nothing is that difficult.
And there isn’t a mess you can make that someone who loves you wouldn’t be able to clean up but you have to really care for each other and put each other’s happiness first.
Once you find someone who will put your happiness first, you will be happy forever and they will give you a good reason to be happy.
On the difficult days, when staying strong is the hardest thing to do, they will be there to lend you their strength and you will be able to carry the weight of your problems together.
I can tell you from my experience that true love really does lift the weight off of your shoulders. It’s always easier to fight when there is someone by your side, rooting for you to succeed and when they really mean it.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I had difficult days, ever since I fell in love with the love of my life; even that time when I didn’t have a job, it really wasn’t that difficult because he believed in me and convinced me that I am capable of doing anything I want to do.
However, your special someone needs to understand when you are having a hard time and he needs to love you a little extra on those days and put your happiness first.
Making you feel better will become his main goal in life, and he will succeed. So the difficult days will become just days that you weren’t feeling your best… until your loved one cheered you up and gave you a reason to fight.
When you have someone who will love you no matter what, the difficult days will pass before you know it and you will end up being proud of yourself and your loved one for going through that together.
Always remember that as long as you have each other and love each other with all your heart… nothing can stop you from having the best days of your lives.
