I owe most of my best traits to my mother – the woman who is there for me whenever I need her. The one who showed me what I can become if I know how to listen to my own heart.
My mother is such an amazing woman. Strong, fierce, and full of love.
Even in the darkest times, when I had no idea how to move on, she found a way to turn on the lights and help me get out of the tunnel.
She is my rock, the only person who knows how to love me even on my worst days. The one I run to whenever I need advice, even though I’m no longer a little girl.
You would think that as we grow older, we don’t need our parents’ support. But if there’s anything I’ve learned in life, it’s that no one can take on the role of your mother.
She was my safe harbor while I was a child and she’ll keep being that until the day we part.
When I compare myself to her, I realize that there are many things she successfully taught me. She shaped me into the person I am today and passed on to me some of the greatest traits a person can have.
She taught me that there’s nothing wrong with being independent

When you grow up in an environment that encourages you to be strong and independent, you eventually realize that you don’t need anyone to be happy. You don’t need a man to be satisfied with your life.
The only thing you need to do is love yourself. After that, everything starts to fit into its place and you learn to appreciate your independence more and more.
One day, you’ll wake up and realize that you’d never want to live your life any differently from how it is right then. And that’s when you’ll know that you’ve succeeded.
She taught me that I can be whatever I like

My mother is a strong woman but she also wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s filled with love and purity and after a simple look into her eyes, you realize that she could never hurt you.
She’s tough, as she knows what she wants and she won’t let anyone play with her. But at the same time, her soft heart is sensitive and she hates seeing people suffer.
Being raised by this superwoman, I realized that I can be both as well. I can be strong and independent.
I can live a life of my own without being bothered by what others say about me. But at the same time, I can love and care about people and never inflict pain on them.
She taught me that being a woman is a tough job

Seeing her take care of me and my family, I realized that my mother must be a magician. She’s always been there for us, even on those days when she didn’t want to get out of bed.
Still, she put us first and she showed us that we won’t ever lack anything as long as we have her.
She was our warrior and still is to this day. No matter how old we get, she’ll always be our biggest support.
I now realize that being a woman is a tough job. It’s about tackling the world while balancing on one foot but at the same time, it’s also about doing your best and never letting anything drag you down.
She taught me what unconditional love feels like

In the middle of the night and in the middle of the day, she’s always been there for me. To calm me down, to support me, to be the wind beneath my wings.
I guess that we all thought that she couldn’t get sick or that she didn’t need time for herself since we were always so used to the idea of having her by our side.
She gave us her best only because she wanted to see us grow. She wanted to see us turn into successful people filled with love, patience, and understanding.
And that whole time, she always had a smile on her face. It was always there to cheer us up and to remind us that everything would be fine.
My strong mother is living proof of what unconditional love actually feels like and I reject settling for anything less than what I got from her.
Most importantly, she taught me how to be a good mother

Watching her raise me and my siblings, I realized that I want to raise my children the same way. I want to give them love and support them as they grow but also let them know that they can always count on me.
I want to show them that I’ll always be happy with whatever they become, as long as they keep their hearts filled with love.
They need to realize that working for their dreams always pays off. My strong mother taught me that and it’s a lesson I want to pass on to them.
I also want to teach them that their past doesn’t define them. Even if they make a mistake, they shouldn’t keep dwelling on it.
Instead, they should move on and keep fighting for themselves, as no one else can do that for them.
Being raised by a strong mother, I realized many things that no one could ever teach me better. That’s why I want to play the same role in the lives of my kids as the one my mother played in mine.

She’s my heroine and the only woman I still look up to. A part of my heart will always belong to her, as she was the one who filled it with love.
I’ll never be able to thank her enough for all those sleepless nights she spent by my bed. For all those mornings when she woke up before me just so I wouldn’t be late.
Even when I no longer needed her to teach me how to walk, she still made sure to stay by my side to catch me if I fell. And in those moments, she filled me with strength and made me believe that I can do anything I set my heart on.
My strong mother is my biggest inspiration and I’m forever thankful for everything she taught me. Without her, I would be a completely different person but not in a good way.
