He doesn't love you enough

Often, we settle for the people and relationships we know we don’t deserve. Maybe we think we expect too much from people or maybe we are afraid of being alone. But you should never settle for less when it comes to love. You should always appreciate yourself and know your worth. Simply, there are things that every person deserves from a relationship. And here are 11 things you deserve from a relationship.

Respect is an important part of every relationship. No mature relationship can ever work out without respect. Every relationship has its bad and good days, but mutual respect must always exist. It’s crucial for your partner to appreciate you, and if you ever feel disrespected, demeaned, or belittled by him, you deserve more.

When you first start dating someone, you feel like you can’t get your hands off each other. But with time, in most relationships, those butterflies and excitement get replaced with other things. What people in long-term relationships often forget is the fact that passion should always be present between the two people who are in love. It is sometimes hard to keep the passion alive throughout the years, but always try, because it is one of the basis of a healthy relationship.

Many people connect intimacy only with sex. Although sex is a huge part of it, intimacy represents something much more. It is the feeling of always being close and being one with your partner. Intimacy is not built only in bed, it is the sense of togetherness, attachment, companionship, confidentiality, and affection, and it is one of the most important things in a successful relationship.

When you are in a relationship, your significant other should be your partner in every sense of that word. It is important to know that he will always be there for you and that you two will always have each other’s back, no matter what. When you have a supportive partner you can rely on, your self-esteem grows and you feel better about yourself and your relationship. Knowing that you don’t have to bear all the weight of life on your own makes you feel secure and safe.

One of the things we all expect from people close to us, especially from our romantic partners, is honesty. There will never be trust where there is no honesty. You need to know that your partner is trustworthy and that you don’t have the need to doubt him. Mutual trust is one of the foundations of every healthy relationship, and without it, you can never expect to have one.

We all have flaws and nobody is perfect. But when someone falls in love with us and decides to share their life with us, it is important for that person to accept us for who we are. You need to love someone who will not only love you despite your imperfections, but who will love you because of them. People who truly love us, love us for who we are, not for who we could be, and therefore will never try to change us.

If you are in a serious relationship, it is perfectly normal if you want to know that someone is fully dedicated to you and your relationship. You need to know that you are not the only one willing to fight for this relationship and that the other person is also devoted to it. You need to have a partner who will stay by your side and doesn’t have the intention to leave you when times gets rough.

Your relationship partner should also be your friend. He should always believe in you and push you forward. You don’t need a partner who will lower your self-esteem and be pessimistic about everything you try to accomplish. Instead, you need someone who will always encourage you and inspire you to be the best possible version of yourself.

No relationship can ever work out if there is no compromise. You don’t need a partner who will be selfish and self-centered. You need to look for someone who will take care of your needs and desires as well and who will always be ready to meet you halfway.

Unconditional Love

Of course, you can find all of this in one person, but if you don’t have true, unconditional love, what is the point? You need to have a partner whose love will make you a better person, who will always see the best of you and whose love will make you love yourself more. You don’t deserve anything less!
